Instrumental version

This is the instrumental version of the cover which I'm still not really satisfied with. I'll try to work some more on the guitars and some syncing. Tell me your ideas!

Workspace setup

This is the workspace setup I'm using in Adobe Audition. This certain program is not a genuine music production application but still the only one I've been using and that's the reason for my choice.

Hopefully my next post will contain the non-lyric preview of the song.

Cover of The Figurehead

My first official music project is to cover The Figurehead by The Cure.

I've had this in my mind for a while now and although I wanted it to be a more differentiated interpretation it did not end up that way. I'm not done with the lyrics and that will have to wait until next week since I'm stranded in Västerås.

Here's the song performed by The Cure in 2002, although the song was released 20 years earlier in 1992.
